Plain English. This describes what this website collects, what I do with it, and what I do not do with it. Last updated 21 September 2026.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Metricool to measure traffic. Both set cookies or similar identifiers and record things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor is, what device and browser were used, and which site or search referred them. This is aggregate measurement. It is not used to identify individual visitors and I do not attempt to identify you from it.
This site has no shopping cart, no checkout and no account sign-up. It does not collect payment card details, and no payment is ever taken through this website.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser’s private mode, and the site will work normally.
If you call, text or email, I hold what you send — your name, phone number or email address, and whatever you tell me about what you are looking for or looking to sell. I use it to answer you and to carry out the work you ask for. Nothing more.
If a transaction goes ahead, I keep the records a business is required to keep, including identification details where Alabama law requires a precious-metal buyer to record them, and transaction and tax records. Those are kept for the period the law requires.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent or trade contact lists. I do not add you to a marketing list because you enquired once, and I do not pass your details to other jewelers, buyers or lead-generation companies.
I share information only with the service providers needed to run the business — for example the analytics providers named above, and payment or accounting providers on a completed transaction — and where the law requires disclosure.
