A lab-grown diamond is a diamond. It is crystallised carbon with the same 10 on the Mohs scale, the same refractive index and the same sparkle as a stone pulled out of the ground. It is not moissanite, it is not cubic zirconia, and it is not a simulant. A jeweller cannot tell the difference by eye — separating them takes specialist equipment reading trace growth patterns.
What changes is the supply chain. A mined stone carries the cost of finding it. A grown stone does not. That difference lands in your pocket as size and clarity instead of story.
The honest caveat: lab-grown stones do not hold resale value the way natural stones can. If you are buying partly as an asset, say so and I will point you at natural. If you are buying a ring to wear, that distinction matters far less than people think.
