A private jeweler instead of a showroom floor. You see the stone, you see the price it landed at, and you decide. No commissioned salesperson, no markup built to cover a retail lease.
My partner and I are involved in growing the diamonds and manufacturing the jewelry, with a partner on 47th Street in New York. That is the reason the pricing works — not a sale, not a promotion.
You are not handed to whoever is on the floor. You work with me directly, start to finish, and nobody is paid a commission to push you toward a particular stone.
Certificate, measurements, and the stone in your hand under real light before you commit. If a stone does not look right to you in person, it does not leave with you.
Most people walk into a jewelry store with a number in their head and get talked up from it. Here the order is reversed. We start with the budget you actually want to spend, and I show you what that buys at several different combinations of size, cut and clarity so you can see the trade-offs yourself.
The honest version: I am not cheaper because I run a sale. I am cheaper because of where I sit in the chain. My partner in New York and I are involved in growing the diamonds and manufacturing the jewelry, and Diamonds by Saxena sells to independent jewelry stores at wholesale as well as to you directly. When you buy from me, you are buying close to the level those stores buy at.
Bring me a written quote from another jeweler on a comparable certified stone and setting, and I will beat it or tell you straight that I cannot. I would rather lose a sale than pretend.
Both are real diamonds. A lab-grown stone is chemically and optically identical to a mined one — same hardness, same brilliance, and no gemologist can tell the difference by eye. The difference is origin and price.
Lab-grown lets most people buy noticeably larger and cleaner for the same money, which is why the majority of the rings I sell in Huntsville are lab-grown. Natural stones hold a different kind of value and some people want that specifically. I sell both and I will not push you either way — you should see both and decide what matters to you.
By appointment at 7738-B Madison Boulevard, Suite 104, serving buyers across North Alabama. A full showroom for watches and diamonds opens at 7003 Cabela Drive NW in November 2026.
Ignore the two-or-three-months-salary rule — it was a marketing campaign. Spend what fits your life. What matters far more is getting full value for whatever number you pick, and that is the part I can actually control.
Yes. Everything is by appointment and you see the actual stone, with its certificate, before any money changes hands.
Yes. Custom is most of what I do — bring a photo, a sketch, or a description and we build from it.
Resizing is handled here. If the fit is off after the proposal, bring it back.
